An OVA about a photographer whose only power is a single frozen frame, nine seconds ahead — so the show itself experiments with holding frames far longer than convention: entire cuts run four, five, six seconds on a single drawing, longer than a three-hold would normally justify, because the premise gave us permission to make stillness the visual subject rather than a budget concession.

Ironically the douga count is the lowest of anything we’ve made per minute of runtime, and the genga count barely dropped — nearly every drawing that exists in this OVA is a genga in its own right, which is a very unusual ratio for anything longer than a title sequence.
